Let’s Talk Money week takes place from the 4th-8th November. It is by the Money and Pensions service and encourages everyone to come together for more open conversations about money in the workplace, at home, schools and wider communities. Research shows that people who discuss money:
- Make better financial decisions
- Have stronger personal relationships
- Feel less stressed or anxious
At Women RISE, we are aware of how much money can impact on our lives on wellbeing. To support this, we ran the CAP Budgeting Course with St. Swithin’s Church in April 2024. This allowed clients to learn budgeting and money management techniques that could be implemented into day-to-day life. In May, we also ran a Multiply course. This course looked at maximising money and teaching the numeracy skills needed to manage finances.
If you are interested in supporting RISE with empowering women to have open conversation ns on money, please get in contact by emailing on womenrise@latcharity.org.uk.
