Stress Awareness Month

Stress Awareness Month takes place every April and is designed to raise awareness of the causes, effects and solutions to stress. This year the theme coined by the Stress Management Society is ‘Combating Stress in an Age of Information Overload’.

In the UK , 79% of adults experience stress at least once a month, with research from Indeed showing that 52% of workers are battling burn out, while only 13% of employees feel happy to openly discuss their mental health at work.

Working collaboratively we can help to break down barriers and improve overall mental wellbeing. At RISE, we are hosting a group session on 25th April around stress and how we can manage this.
