“Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It always feels like a safe space. I feel able to talk freely either to a member of staff or within the group. It is a very friendly and welcoming environment, where we are all able to share our thoughts, feelings and problems. I love that we do different activities and I always look forward to attending group.”
“All staff are very approachable, friendly and easy to talk to, self-referral easy to do. My favourite aspects are seeing other people … It Is a safe place to say ‘not feeling okay’. With craft activities there is no pressure to participate, can just sit and chat if that’s how I feel- The laughter!!!. Turn up feeling 5/10, leave feeling 10/10.”
“Always kind, cheerful, chatty and give good advice when needed. My favourite aspect is that I feel more positive after working with RISE.”
“The support I have received from Ruth has been so helpful for me. RISE are welcoming, kind and Ruth goes out of her way to make sure my needs are met. I cannot thank her enough for her support and encouragement in a non-judgmental, respectful and professional manner.”
“The time and effort and most important the compassion, I will forever be grateful I’ve had a voice. Thank you Elle. It took me months but my favourite aspect was when Elle showed and made me believe I’m not bad. Remember time does not exist when it comes to healing. you might not ever feel heard but there a strength in numbers. I am RISE.”
“ As a person who has gone through the Women’s Aid programme and seeking support along my Journey forwards , I have found RISE to carry on the work enabling me to make appropriate connections , help me have confidence in my decision making ….. and generally find that spark again . All the team are individually supportive ; their ethos reflects the positive regard they have in their practice . Would recommend their safe space .”
