Multiply is a national programme to encourage lifelong learning and the development of numeracy skills. In Lincolnshire, there have been some innovative programmes including ‘slow cooker fudge’ which the Women’s Centre were delighted to host for the day.
The trainer provided slow cookers to all of the participants and they practiced their numeracy skills including weighing liquid, budgeting from an Aldi shopping list and working out proportions of ingredients.
LAT are Multiply Champions and have some funding available to deliver courses like this with your clients. Get in touch with womenrise@latcharity.org.uk if you would like any further information.
